🗓️ On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the village of Vinsobres is transformed and the winemakers are back for the 4th edition of “La Nuit du Vinsobres”: an evening of wine tasting in the narrow streets of the village!

During the evening, discover the appellation’s wines and local produce in a tasting program designed to please your taste buds: wine tasting, food & wine pairing, local produce market, live music and foodtrucks.

🍽️ Two formulas are available:

  • Tasting formula for 7€
  • Tasting formula + dinner for 25€ (appetizer, starter, main course, cheese, dessert) prepared with fresh produce by local artisans.

About Anna Christina Cabrales
Cabrales comes from a well-rounded wine career that includes corporate world savviness, restaurant experience and social media entrepreneurship. She was Director of Education at Independence Wine & Spirits, a fine wine importer of Taub Family Selections; GM & Wine Director of Morrell Wine Bar; Project Manager in investor relations for Business Wire. She believes in mentorship and community and is a mentor for Wine Unify and Bâtonnage Forum and founder of Sommation, which promotes inclusion and conversation around all topics surrounding wine. Cabrales graduated with a culinary and sommelier diploma from The French Culinary Institute and a bachelor’s in economics and East Asian studies with a minor in psychology from Rutgers University-Douglass College.

An exceptional 2023 vintage

An exceptional and gourmet 2023 vintage is on the way!

October marked the end of the harvest period for our winegrowers.

2023 was a surprising year, but less and less atypical, with periods of heatwave persisting into the late season. These conditions led to slow and heterogeneous ripening, forcing the harvest to be spread out over time.
The weather was then favorable for good harvesting conditions, but quantities were down. On some hillside plots, the hot spell caused up to 30% loss.

As for the quality of the vintage, the winemakers are unanimous: it’s a nice surprise! Beautifully ripe, full-bodied, with supple tannins and a degree of alcohol slightly above 2022, which adds roundness and deliciousness. A concentrated, gourmet wine.

We’ll have to wait a few more months for the first tasting…
